I’ve never been a huge fan of Halloween, which is bizarre because I have a pretty creative, “out there” personality. But I guess the task of coming up with a costume idea, actually putting it together and splurging for one night feels daunting to me.
(And p.s. I hate scary movies!!)
In years past, I’ve opted out to stay in bed or I’d even offer my driving services to friends. Just call me Debby Downer.
But this year, I’ve decided to stop resisting the Halloween experience and really dive in.
I bought a ton of decorations, baked festive cookies, visited a few costume stores, attempted to watch Scream (during the day of course) and I carved my first pumpkin!!
Yes, very sad I know!! Here it is..
Not the most creative, but it’s a start!
And lastly, I shot a special Halloween video: 4 Tips for A Fun, Budget Friendly Halloween (for your entertainment and for all the non-fans out there like myself!)

Have a fun and safe Halloween!
