I was at the deli the other day and grabbed a ticket from the dispenser.

It read: “104.”

I looked up at the sign that read: “now serving 86.”

My immediate thought was: let’s get out of here. I’m not waiting that long.

BUT, it’s the best deli in town with the best sandwiches.

Is it worth the wait? Absolutely!

It got me thinking about our dreams, and how many people walk away because they’re tired of waiting.

But aren’t your dreams worth the wait?

So many of us make the “wait” mean that we’ll never get the results we want.

But I don’t think that’s true at all.

I think the wait and the journey is what makes the end result that much sweeter (and the sandwich that much taster!). I think the wait and the process is all happening for us, not against us.

If you think the wait is terrible, you’ll end up quitting.

Don’t settle for mediocre. You deserve the best of the best. But that requires patience my friend.

The wait is never the problem, but how you THINK about it.
