It’s graduation season!!!
I can’t help but think that 8 years ago around this time, I had just graduated college with zero thought as to what I was going to do next.
In fact, the only thing I planned to do was to “live it up” once last summer on the beach with friends. But as that summer came to an end, so did my apathetic attitude.
It seemed like the only rational thing to do was to get a job, any job that I could find amidst the great recession, and work my butt off to pay my student loans.
But diving head first into the work force with “my mind on money and money on my mind” was probably the BIGGEST mistake I could’ve made. Without taking the time to reflect, reevaluate and create a long-term plan for success, I dug a pretty deep hole that became harder and harder to climb out of.
Today, I talk about this BIG mistake that SO many graduates are making today!
