Our brains hate the present moment.
I was taught never to use the word “hate”, but seriously though, our brains HATE the present moment.
They convince us (quite successfully) that IF we were just over there– some moment other than where we are– that THEN we’d feel fantastic.
They convince us that if we just had this other “thing”, THEN we’d feel better.
Our brains are Joy-Suckers.
It must stop.
Because as long as you keep wanting and waiting and chasing for some future moment, you’ll continue to create more lack, more suffering and lack of results.
