One of the things I hear on almost every single consult call with a potential new client is…
“I just want to help people!”
They’ll say…
“I don’t know exactly what that looks like, but I know that I want to help people.”
I get it.
After my second cubicle job, I thought about joining the Peace Corps, starting a non-profit, or quitting my job and just volunteering at the local shelter–pet, food, homeless (I legit didn’t care what the cause.)
I felt called to do something–anything– to serve others.
But, the uncertainty of WHAT or HOW sent me spiraling into my own pool of self-suffering and pity.
All of a sudden, it seemed like I was the one who needed help 🥴
Oy vey.
It was a confusing time.
So how exactly did I find my way to a full-time service business?
That’s what I’ll talk about today.
Whether you know exactly what your thang is and what you have to offer OR you have no friggin idea, I’ll share what you must do right now to get the wheels turning and to connect to your bigger purpose in life.
