Life Gets to Be Easy

Hi, I'm Shaina

I’m a Life Coach, mindset expert and interior design enthusiast living in sunny Los Angeles. I help soul-searching people get their sh*t together and create a lifestyle they’re proud of.

Years ago, I sent an email with the subject: life is supposed to be fun.

A follower of mine was bothered by this.

She sent me a reply, letting me know the reasons that’s NOT true.

It’s wild that a belief as innocent as this one can cause anger and frustration in some people.

But, I get it.

Our brains don’t like to be wrong.

If we believe that ‘life is hard’ we’d rather be “right” and feel justified in our shitty belief than explore a new one.

1. It’s “easier”
2. The ego is powerful
3. We lack the tools (and knowledge) to evolve beyond our limitations

I used to believe that life was hard.

I used to believe…

Bills are hard to pay.
Student loan debt is normal.
I have to do things I hate to get to where I want to go.
Relationships are supposed to be hard.
Your twenties are supposed to suck.

I made decision after decision to prove these true.

Willingly signed up for debt — no questions asked. Tolerated poor behavior in relationships. Stayed in jobs that were eating at my soul.

And so once I found this work, I changed the narrative.

{smack dab in the middle of the “hardness”}

I decided to BELIEVE that life gets to be easy for me.

I decided that it was possible for me.

I decided to never subscribe to the struggle ever again.

And since then, I’ve created more ease and freedom than ever. Working two days a week, unlimited vacation time, money in the bank and a drama-free relationship.

Simply by changing my beliefs.
