Waiting Until Things Get Really Bad

Author picture

Hi, I'm Shaina

I’m a Self-Discovery Coach, Pisces and interior design enthusiast living in sunny Los Angeles. I help women lost in their careers find their true purpose.

Waiting until things get really bad.

I know you know what I’m talking about.

When you’ve outgrown a situation, but continue to beat a dead horse because it’s “comfortable” and familiar.

And the suffering grows and grows.

And you start to get fed up.

And then at one point, the pain becomes too much to bear.

And you feel like you can’t take one more day — at this job, in this relationship, in this living situation.

And then you finally DO something about it.

You become so desperate, that you’re willing to do whatever it takes to escape the pain.

And when you finally do, you look back and THINK: damn, I should’ve done that a lot sooner!

Change doesn’t have to be like that!

You don’t have to wait until things get so f*cking bad that you’re backed into a corner.

You don’t have to justify managing a life you don’t want, and tolerate the pain.

You could be using that time, that energy and that focus to create a lifestyle you actually want.

I know that change is hard and it’s uncomfortable.

But so is the suffering in the “safety zone.”

In fact, it’s worse. Like wayyyyyyy worse. That kind of discomfort feels like depression, hostility and helplessness.

Change in the direction of growth, feels CLEAN and necessary.

That’s the difference.
